I learned last night as we were pulling into port in Darwin, before we even tied up to the pier police had tied up to the ship and brought drug-sniffing dogs aboard. They arrested several people for attempting to transport drugs from Bali into Australia. Apparently this is a very popular drug running area and the ship was too easy for some to pass up the opportunity.
The other night we received information regarding departures. Self-assist departures go from 6:20-7am. What was unique is the fact they’re saying the absolute last departure is 8:20am. Quickest I’ve ever seen them wanting the boat emptied.
We’ve officially tapped all known activities for the crew. We have officially been on the ship 14 days now so I guess they can be excused for that 😉 Highlight of the day is the guest vs crew water polo game and the Dancing with the Stripes content before dinner.
